EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The rapid development of the Internet of Things and the technologies and services based on it offers various possibilities to optimize the internal and inter-company transport processes for a warehouse in multi-stage supply chains. We are looking for highly motivated students who will actively assist us through the following tasks:

  • Definition and analysis of software solutions and their architecture based on SAP Leonardo IoT Platform
  • Creation of demos and mockups for concept illustration
  • Support for test and correction

We offer a unique work environment developing customer requirements on top of SAP standard software. As full-fledged member of a highly motivated international team you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience as well as theoretical know-how. Individual support from a personal mentor enables you to gain experience with a challenging international project environment.
In case of interest a bachelor or master thesis or internships can be offered.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Preferred course of study(s): Informatics, Business Informatics or similar
  • Mandatory very good development skills and broad knowledge
  • Languages: very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
  • Soft skills: independent working style, willingness to work autonomous, be a teamplayer, be innovative and think one step further

Development experience in the following areas are beneficial:

  • Computing skills: Knowledge of Cloud Computing and PaaS, best case would be SCP
  • Java, JavaScript, UI5, Go, ABAB or C/C++
  • Server-side development technologies (Java EE, Spring, Jetty, Cloud Foundry)
  • Web programming (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST, JSON)
  • DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins)
  • Relational and NoSQL database
  • Machine/sensor connectivity ( MQTT )
  • OData
  • GIT and GitHub

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
