Customer Success drives software adoption, ensuring customers implement and run what they buy whilst safeguarding maintenance and subscription. The strength of our Centers of Expertise (CoE), as part of Customer Success, is to analyze customer solutions with 360° view on relevant components including application, database and technology, as well as engaging a strong back office support for every customer engagement, providing Expertise on Demand, instant resolution of top pain points and fast access to best practices.


In the role of an Associate Support Engineer (f/m/d), you will work in the Center of Expertise with focus on technical topics like databases, continuity management and IT planning. In these areas we deliver high quality expert services for every aspect of the Premium Engagement customers' software implementation, optimization, transformation or maintenance project. Within a short time in this role you will gain a unique technical expertise.




  • An academic degree in natural, economic or engineering sciences, e.g. computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, mathematics, physics
  • Very good analytical skills for solving complex problems
  • A structured, reliable and independent way of working even under pressure
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Knowledge in the field of programming (e.g. Java, C++, ABAP)
  • Very good German (native language) and English language skills, both spoken and written
  • Experience with RDBMS databases and SAP HANA is considered a big plus


Our team primarily focuses on

  • IT planning topics like database technical architecture design
  • Continuity management related technical topics like HA/DR, enqueue replication
  • Database related topics like setup, administration and performance optimization
