The OnPremise Presales Champion (f/m/d) is a part of the Platform & Technologies (P&T) sales organization in Middle & Eastern Europe (MEE). The OnPremise Presales Champion is the essential link between Customers, SAP Industry AEs, Center of Excellence and Presales to help facilitate and scale the OnPremise Platform & Technology portfolio to sales and customer success.


To do so, your responsibilities are to create, support, and lead customer opportunities to drive sales and customer success and to gain acceptance from the customer that the  Platform & Technology portfolio can solve the customer’s problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings. Furthermore, the OnPremise Presales Champion is driving demand generation activities and collaborating with the sales team to plan and execute business development strategies.

Your customer base ranges from large to midsize customers, depending on your market. All these activities happen in close collaboration and alignment with the P&T leadership and respective account teams in your local market, as well as other regional or global functions if needed (e.g. product management). 




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science required. MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years in experience in software and/or services sales, presales or solution architecture 
  • Profound understanding of SAP Platform & Technology software portfolio, business processes, underlying technologies
  • Proven experience and ability to create as well as present complete solutions and business cases
  • Experienced in working in a solution/overlay sales organization 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent German and English language skills are mandatorty




The OnPremise Presales Champion team in MEE supports the SAP Industry AE in the various MEE market units  to position and sell the OnPremise Platform & Technology portfolio to customers which are not yet “cloud ready”.
