What you’ll do:

As the Principal IAM Architect (f/m/d), you’re expected to be security-focused also business-oriented. You’re a subject-matter expert on all IAM topics as it relates to both cloud and on-premises technologies. Your solid hands-on IAM experience benefits you on developing effective architecture solutions and future IAM strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design identity and access management solutions including but not limited to identity management, access management, privilege access management, multi-factor authentication, single-sign-on, etc.
  • Partner with cross functional and business teams to develop effective IAM architecture solutions, including the customization of them to fulfill the business requirements that cannot be met with standard out-of-box functionalities. 
  • Deliver phased architecture in a reusable and reliable way to help business grow in changes while keep the IAM strategy coherent.  
  • Lead IAM security assessment. Initiate and drive IAM security risk remediation and process improvement projects as applicable.
  • Participate in IAM enterprise governance processes. Collaborate closely with the business units and the stakeholders to drive IAM standards and security best practices adoption. 
  • Key contributor in IAM strategy and evolution of IAM technologies in SAP. Create and maintain the technical documentation and roadmaps.



What you bring:

  • 10+ years of security architect experience with a focus on Identity Management, Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Multi-Factor Authentication.
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Azure AD, Linux. Working with solutions like Thycotic, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, RSA or comparable products. 
  • Intimately familiar with IAM related protocols such as SAML, OAuth, Kerberos, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages. Proficient in at least one of the following: powershell, vbscript, perl, javascript.  
  • Experience with architecting IAM solutions within and across Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, and on-premises. 
  • Solid knowledge and experience in operating system security, network security, application security, endpoint security, perimeter security, platform hardening, configuration and patching automation, security compliance and governance. 
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture and delivery models. 
  • Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with “security-focused also business-oriented” mindset and ability, including extensive experience engaging and presenting to senior leaders.
  • 2~3 years of security software development experience is desirable. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
