Job Description:

The CX MU Specialist will work closely with CX Sales Leadership to create and accelerate pipeline that achieves revenue targets for the CX portfolio of solutions. This includes acting as ‘the CMO’ of a specific sales region (market unit) and providing insights into the health of the marketing funnel and making recommendations on marketing tactics that fill gaps. The MU Specialist will also ensure that national CX campaigns are landing appropriately in a sales region while adding incremental activities such as virtual/in-person events and digital campaigns.

The candidate should be experienced with end-to-end campaign architecture and execution including outbound tele-reach, virtual and physical events, and field sales stakeholder management and enablement.

This role partners closely with Sales and reports to the Head of NA CX Marketing. Candidate should have marketing experience, executive communication skills and presence, and experience with Sales stakeholder management.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

  • Sales Partnership: Work with Sales leadership to determine the health of the demand funnel and determine what actions need to occur to address challenges. (e.g. lead gen, pipeline acceleration, improved conversions)
  • Third Party Events: Propose appropriate third-party events, manage sponsorship and event execution, align with Sales as well as regional Marketing teams, coordinate lead follow-up
  • Telemarketing: Select appropriate campaign topics and offers to align with telemarketing resources, coordinate training materials and tele-vendor training sessions, prep contact list, monitor and adjust campaign as needed for maximum success.
  • Field Enablement and Activation: Enable CX Sales organization on Tier 1 events such as SAPPHIRE and Success Connect. Activities include ensuring they can leverage the appropriate tools to drive demand to the event and strengthen their customer engagement.
  • Hosted SAP events and sponsorships: Orchestrate in-person SAP events or sports sponsorships that drive or accelerate CX pipeline.
  • Executive & Sales Stakeholder Management: Collaborate on a regular basis with Marketing colleagues (e.g. CX Plan Lead, Portfolio MU Specialists, Product Marketing, Audience Marketing, SAP Digital Media and Social leads), vendors (e.g. online media vendors, tele vendors, third party event vendors), partners, ASUG, Finance, and Sales / COE stakeholders, and SAP executives across the business.
  • Analytics & Insights: Utilize reporting to regularly understand the state of the business, campaign performance, online media performance, tele campaigns and use insights to drive future decisions and plans
     

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of experience in B2B technology marketing.
  • Field marketing experience preferred
  • Cloud software marketing experience preferred.
  • Executive communication skills and presence and excellence stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage and communicate a performance driven business
  • Ability to collaborate across large organizational matrix to accomplish specific objectives.
  • Hands-on, hard-working and motivated by a collaborative, fast-paced results driven environment
  • Master in managing multiple projects at one time with tight deadlines
  • Be capable of quickly learning the tools required for tracking and reporting including database querying technologies, 3rd party analytical tools etc.
