ABOUT THE TEAM:
The "Central Business Configuration Delivery & Customer Success Team" is a newly created team to run the global support for our Cloud Customers and drive the success of SAP's Cloud Implementation Projects using the new technology delivered by CBC.

 

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
This role provides opportunities for customer interaction and learning as it is for a new product - Central Business Configuration (CBC). This role extends to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Site Reliability Engineering combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems.

 

The Central Business Configuration (CBC) team provides business configuration for Intelligent Enterprise Suite applications.  We deliver content covering 400+ business processes, for 40+ countries, in 19+ languages and tailored to several key industries. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  • Work together with customers and partners for successful implementation and delivery
  • Deliver on support KPIs – Minimize initial reaction times, message processing times and other KPIs for internal / external customer issues
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and SLA Reporting (observability)
  • Analyze and solve operational issues, and respond to incidents
  • Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Advanced English Level Mandatoy
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Python, Node.js, Ruby and Java or equivalent 
  • 2+ years of experience in projects involving Java, NodeJS, J2EE, messaging, Microservices and Containers for complex, scalable, SAAS or enterprise grade products
  • Experience with automation orchestration, and configuration management tools such as Chef/Ansible, Terraform and Jenkins/Concourse
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Experience working with appropriate complex systems administration, database administration, and landscape maintenance
  • Ability to work with distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in one of the SAP's cloud solutions
