ABOUT THE TEAM
This position is exclusively offered to students who study Informatics in the integrated degree program of the FH Technikum Wien. During your practical phase at SAP, you will be a part of SAP’s Product Support unit.

 

SAP’s Product Support is a team working globally consisting of more than 2,000 technical experts who resolve issues that occur in complex software environments. We are communicating with our customers via tickets, chat or communities and answering their inquiries 24x7 in a follow-the-sun working model.
Our support engineers are trained on the job to become technical experts who combine SAP product knowhow with IT expertise.
We guarantee adherence of contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs), document and communicate the results of our analysis and are the link to SAP’s development department.

 

THE ROLE
You will become an integral team member in our Product Support unit with tasks and learning opportunities such as - but not limited to - the following:

  • Technical analysis of issues reported by our global customer’s IT- and Application departments
  • Opportunity to gain in-depth technical knowledge of several SAP Products, using the latest information technologies
  • First debugging steps – alternately classroom/on the job trainings
  • Communication on technical expert level
  • Contribution in Knowledge Management: drafting Knowledge Documents (Knowledge Based Articles) or answering Community threads
  • Employment duration: Full-time employment during the practical phases at SAP for 2 years complementary to the integrated degree program of the FH Technikum Wien. 

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Student (f/m/d) in integrated degree program for Informatics at the FH Technikum Wien
  • Computer skills: Debugging-/programming skills (optional ABAP oo, C#)
  • Language skills: Fluent in English & German in written and verbally
  • Soft skills: Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, readiness to work in a multicultural team, communicative personality
  • Beneficially basic knowhow in business administration

As an attactive employer we offer you a salary that is based on the current "Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte von Unternehmen im Bereich Dienstleistungen in der automatischen Datenverarbeitung und Informationstechnik", a minimum of 1510€ gross/month/full time, in addtion to generous additional benefits. 

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
