PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As a Business Partner you are responsible to deliver business support (from a legal and commercial perspective) to our sales team in the consulting line of business on the one hand side and also be responsible for stewardship in terms of internal controls, internal and external audits in this area on the other hand side.

Particularly this role is mainly responsible for the consulting Offer2Contract process in Austria. This includes especially the following key tasks: deal structuring with sales colleagues on consulting projects, reviewing and approving contract offers (from a legal and commercial perspective), negotiating with customers, advising sales, supervising the process

Beside the before mentioned key responsibilities this role is the interface between the operative business area Consulting and other F&A function areas, especially Legal Department, Order Handling, Controlling, Revenue Recognition and Risk Management. The position is part of the Finance organization of SAP Austria and directly reporting to the CFO.

To strengthen our team we are looking for a specialist, who has already professional experience in a legal department, bid management team or a similar position.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Deal structuring with sales for consulting projects contracts
  • Review complex consulting offers from a formal, legal and commercial point of view
  • Approve contract offers before they are presented to the customer
  • Monitor organizational and technical execution of contracting processes
  • Communication within affected F&A Areas regarding processes and relevant compliance process steps
  • Close alignment in daily work task with Consulting Operations
  • Supervise Order-Handling and period close process

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Law school or business sciences (with focus on commercial law)
  • Very good communication and presentation abilities in oral and written form, business fluent in English and German
  • Good MS-Office knowledge
  • SAP knowledge preferable
  • General expertise regarding different F&A topics is considered a plus
  • High customer, solution and quality orientation

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Work experience in a contract or legal department, bid management department, purchasing department or similar functions.

 

As a competitive employer, apart from generous added benefits, we also offer a basic salary which is based on the current "Collective agreement for employees in the services sector within the automatic data processing and information technology sector" with a minimum of 2.825,00 Euro as a gross salary per month on the basis of full-time employment. An additional salary is calculated according to qualifications and appropriate work experience. In addition to the basic salary we also offer an annual performance based bonus system.
