Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management for Concur Analytics, the Product Manager will be part of the team responsible for the success of our Intelligence as well as ConcurGov reporting solution.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Be the expert voice and evangelist for Analytics requirements for customers on our current Enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Be part of the team that is responsible for migrating customers from Intelligence to the new Enterprise Analytics platform when it is available.
  • Gather requirements from key stakeholders including product marketing, sales, clients, prospects,

    and the development team.

  • Based on technical feasibility, sustainability, team estimates and capacity, decide most appropriate

    release date for content, adjusting features and priorities as needed.

  • Be the interface between product management and engineering delivery teams, with the primary

    task of translating business needs into actionable, engineering-facing requirements, captured as

    stories in the Agile framework.

  • Communicate product concepts to UX and UI teams to collaboratively create wireframe mockups

    and use these to get early feedback from stakeholders/customers.

  • Prioritize and reprioritize stories based on tradeoffs such as development cost, technology

    constraints, customer value proposition, user experience, risk and need for early customer

    validation.

  • Participate as Product Owner in Scrum Activities - backlog grooming, daily stand-up, sprint

    planning, demo and retrospective meetings.

 

What you need to bring:

  • Experience in Reporting and Analytics solutions.
  • Experience in Cognos.
  • Nice to have: Experience in reporting and product management within US Federal Government.
  • Strongly Preferred: Previous experience in Product Management or similar role.
  • Strongly Preferred: Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Self-motivated: You identify and solve problems, you are naturally inquisitive and you work well in a small team.
  • Execution: The long-term roadmap/strategy is key, but without execution, there’s no way to get there. You are detail oriented and spend time in the trenches - helping build awesome products and enhancements.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience with 7+ years work
