EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Develop Daimler as a key account for Customer Experience - C4HANA
  • Increase sales and revenue with existing Automotive Supplier Key Accounts such as ZF
  • Work in collaboration with the SAP Industry sales team in order to promote SAP Customer Experience and help in the deals closing
  • Identify new and creative ways to approach the Automotive OEM and Supplier Industry
  • Arrange product demonstrations together with our solution engineers, negotiate and bid specifications to successfully win new business
  • You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales
  • Drive Pipeline development through cold calling, email campaigns and market knowledge / intelligence together with Business Development to ensure quota achievement
  • Engage with prospect organizations to position SAP Customer Experience solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis and references
  • Work intensively with partners
  • Sell on multiple levels up to C-Level
  • Represent SAP Customer Experience on events, congresses, etc.
  • Continuous update of the internal CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline data.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Mandatory skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree, MBA or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in e-Commerce and/or Marketing software sales of enterprise-level applications
  • Experience of the Discrete Manufacturing Industry (DMI) & Automotive market
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Extensive prospecting experience, ideally in an emerging market

Preferred skills:

  • Strong tenure with previous employers
  • Entrepreneurial behavior and responsibility
  • Ability to socialize and network successfully and consistently

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience selling business software and/or IT solutions
  • Experience selling to CXOs
  • Proven track record in target achievement
