What you`ll do 
Summary:
SAP Business Technology Platform is the foundation for successful intelligent enterprises. We are therefore growing our design team and looking for a creative, passionate and ambitious user experience designer to help us shape the user experience of our products.
As a User Experience Designer on the Database and Data Management Design team, you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues to design and improve our cloud database and data management solutions to deliver the best end-to-end user experience for our customers. 

The Role:
•    Create interaction design and visual design specifications for planned features
•    Collaborate on user journeys and interaction design prototypes for holistic and harmonized user experience across product components
•    Engage in user research and usability testing sessions with internal and external users to better understand the user needs and create user-centered designs
•    Work closely with our developers, product experts, technical writers to provide our users simple, usable, accessible, and delightful user experiences by addressing the different persona types
•    Elaborate and design new feature requirements
•    Work in an international team across different locations and with designers in other organizations

What you bring 
•    First experience as a UX designer in software development
•    Curiosity and interest to understand technical products and their users
•    Experience in developing interaction and visual design specifications
•    Basic knowledge of user centered design principles
•    Basic knowledge of design software such as Figma or other related tools
•    Good communication and collaboration skills with colleagues across all levels, teams, locations
•    Business fluent in English (oral and written), German is a plus
•    A design portfolio to be attached to your application
