WHAT YOU’LL DO
SAP Design is seeking a Design Events Producer to join our Design Operations team reporting to the Director of Design Operations, Culture & Practice. This person will manage the production of multiple large scale complex events from inception through retro evaluation. The ideal candidate is an experienced and energetic problem solver who can pivot quickly and troubleshoot extemporaneously. This role requires creativity, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while keeping stakeholders informed. This person will have the opportunity to produce world-class innovative events under tight timelines within budget and on brand, all with the support of a vibrant global team.
- Help SAP stand out as a master of UX Design through the production of several large scale annual events including Sapphire, TechEd, DKOM and more
- Manage all aspects of event productions, including pre-production logistics planning, vendor selection, onsite execution, as well as post-event wrap-up
- Create and govern production timelines in alignment with Program Management
- Handle administrative duties related to event production including expense reports, invoicing, contract coordination, approvals and compliance
- Assist with the production and execution of internal presentations in alignment with Comms and Brand guidelines
- Continuously examine, optimize, and measure our operational model and processes (e.g. automating tasks, improving workflows, developing repeatable methodologies)
- Create, maintain and communicate program information to key stakeholders and senior leaders via roadshows, info sessions and async collaboration platforms

- Enjoy working closely with designers, and have familiarity with product development and research methods in the digital space
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4+ years experience in event management
- Ability to connect and lead initiatives in a fully remote, global environment
- Show calling, stage management and technical directing skills
- Extensive knowledge in live and virtual event design and layout, staging, lighting, sound, scenic elements
- Familiarity with virtual whiteboarding / design tools such as Mural, Figma
