The Sales Professional is responsible for building new innovative technology partnerships primarily based on SAP’s P&T Cloud solutions, across MEE/EMEA South, with a prioritized focus on partners that play a strategic role in adopting SAP technology as a foundation for the solutions they take to market. A technology-based partnership is a strategic investment decision for companies and a successful candidate will have the ability to articulate a vision and create a business plan for a company’s most senior level executives. He/she should understand the C-level priorities and speak comfortably and with ease. The role requires a high degree of collaboration across multiple internal and external stakeholders, aligning interests and developing win-win scenarios.

Your responsibilities include the following:


  • Be a key owner of the MEE/EMEA South license / ACV P&T Indirect Cloud budget, and active contributor towards the regional results
  • Directly engage with strategic accounts in MEE/EMEA South with a focus on guiding the partners on the IP development journey
  • Assemble and coordinate a Virtual Account Team to support account interactions, consisting of Industry Sales, Pre-Sales, and other relevant roles, such as Industry/Product teams and the Technology Adoption Tiger Team
  • Develop the business plan – including BOM, commercials – and negotiate contracts directly with accounts, leveraging internal SAP Legal, Finance, Operations and Sales Management functions
  • Maintain an updated CRM with accurate pipeline and forecast data
  • Pursue professional and personal development to ensure adequate knowledge of SAP products, markets and industries
  • Contribute to team strategy discussions and operational efficiency strategies
  • Participate as a collaborative team member in sharing experience and expertise with colleagues  




  • Results driven with demonstrated success in complex software sales with large license revenue transactions in Large Enterprise accounts
  • 8+ years in enterprise technology sales, with a preference for partner selling skills
  • Proven track record of acquiring Large Enterprise accounts with revenue growth and exceeding quota attainment
  • Experience working with senior management (both customers and SAP's senior management), able to generate buy-in, make quick solid decisions and with an understanding of legal contracts and revenue recognition principles
  • Strong collaborative skills – ability to engage and motivate a supporting-sales and account management team in a highly matrixed environment 
  • Fluent in German and English and excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SAP or competitive products and be able to evangelize and articulate benefits of using our products in broad business terms from the partners’ industry perspective
  • Understanding of software development/decision making processes and a high degree of technical trends



The Director Sales, Technology Adoption (Sales Professional) will report to the VP Sales, Technology Adoption EMEA South & MEE. The team in MEE/EMEA South is currently composed of 7 Sales Managers and supported by a team of dedicated Solution Advisors and Success Managers and is part of the Global Software Partner organization of approximately 120 people.
