About SAP Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES)
The purpose of IES as part of the Board Area OCEO is to deliver and run the Intelligent Enterprise. Strategic Central Services (SCS) as part of IES delivers central services to the CIO, the IT Leadership Team and the entire IT Services organization. SCS drives the development and adjustment of the IT Services strategy, IT Security across IES and runs the business operations

You will be a trusted member of the IT Security team of IES reporting directly to the Head of IES Security. 


As an IT Security Incident Response (Senior) Specialist you will:

  • Cooperate with and support IT delivery units regarding the implementation of the IT Security framework and ensure that the Incident Response requirements of NIST CSF are adequately implemented
  • Define and maintain cross-organizational Incident Respond procedures in the IT organization
  • Prepare and perform Incident Response exercises, e.g. Table Top exercises, based on current Threat Intelligence research and relevant attack vectors
  • Follow-up on Incident Response exercises, define improvement measures and metrics / KPIs to ensure implementation and bring IR to the next level
  • Analyze and follow-up on IT Security incidents, bridge the gap to use real incidents as an input for future threat modelling and derive improvements
  • Support the proper implementation of IT Business Continuity Management
  • Participate actively in the further definition and delivery of IES Security services

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related discipline
  • 3+ years’ professional experience in the area of IT Security and/or IT Audit, Risk, Compliance
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in IT Security Incident Response, IT BCM, Risk Management and IT Compliance functions
  • Knowledge and awareness of typical Cyber Security threats, attack vectors, tools and techniques and effective countermeasures
  • Knowledge of common Certification Standards for IT Security (e.g. NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27001) 
  • Good understanding of IT Security operations, especially in the areas of client and server management
  • Proven skills in ITIL / ITSM processes
  • Security Certifications like CISSP, CISA, ISO or similar are an asset
  • Fluent German and English language skills are a prerequisite
