This role is available at all SAP Locations in Germany, e.g. Eschborn (close to Frankfurt), Hamburg, Munich, Düsseldorf. German language skills at certificate Level C at time of first interview are required. 

SUMMARY

Business Transformation Services (BTS) is the advisory arm of SAP’s Consulting organization. We assist customers in achieving their digital transformation vision and driving business value from their SAP and other IT investments. The team draws on insights and experience from thousands of SAP customer implementations. We works with customers at the program level through the life cycle of their engagement with SAP. We start in the sales phase interacting at the business/enterprise level to define, deliver, and measure strategic business outcomes. BTS helps drive the Land, Adopt, Consume and Expand model of engagement which is key to our customer’s and SAP’s success.

 

As a Junior Advisor Digital Transformation you will help to identify and fulfill customers' requirements, both from a business perspective and in relation to the affected IT capabilities. You will support us using strategic analysis, plans, and implementation scenarios to add value to companies by:

  • developing and putting into practice business processes and IT-strategies towards a digital transformation
  • developing best-fit SAP platform and application architecture followed by IT-transformation roadmaps in close collaboration with process and solution experts
  • preparing investment decisions based on value assessments and detailed business case examinations
  • supporting large customer transformation processes as a trusted advisors.

 

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

  • Provide input to SAP´s big picture architecture, aligned to SAP’s product Strategy and investigate how to incorporate in our roadmap new technologies and trends such as Machine Learning, Big Data, IoT
  • Partner with a wide variety of stakeholders across SAP – being it business stakeholders, Product Owners in Intelligent Enterprise Solutions or Architects in Product Engineering
  • Document SAP’s Enterprise Architecture to support investment decisions and delivery excellence

 

YOUR PROFILE

The successful candidate has a basic understanding of enterprise architecture methods, an overview of SAP’s product offerings and a basic understanding of the technology stack.

In addition the role requires

  • professional project experience in consulting or comparable experience in SAP support
  • Hands-on experience implementing and operating SAP Applications (E2E Implementation lifecycle)
  • First Experience applying software architecture methodology and design (SAP Enterprise Architecture methodology, TOGAF)
  • Basic Agile, Scrum Knowledge
  • Excellent English and German Language skills at Certificate Level C

 

ABOUT THE TEAM

We provide a supportive onboarding and buddy system to ensure your success in this role which includes guiding customers to ideate, design, plan, run and optimize SAP solutions for the Intelligent Enterprise. Our team of 20 individuals is spread around various locations in Germany and we value a truly collaborative team spirit especially in times of working remotely.
