SAP Fieldglass was “born cloud” and we are considered one of the forerunners of today’s highly successful cloud delivery model. We provide a cloud-based Vendor Management System (VMS) to manage contingent workforce and services procurement programs. More than 500 customers leverage the SAP Fieldglass solution to gain visibility into their external workforces, including contingent labour, services managed through Statements of Work and independent contractors while optimizing spend, quality, compliance, and efficiency. As Principal Project Delivery Consultant (f/m/d) you will be in charge of the overall management of SAP Fieldglass implementation projects including large scale, high risk, strategic deployments. You will be responsible for multiple customer engagements at the same time ensuring the delivery of required project outputs which include sales support, scoping, project planning, defining project routines, project status reporting and risk mitigations. The Principle Project Delivery Consultant (f/m/d) coordinates project activities and resources, provides guidance to project teams, and ensures the delivery of project outputs on time, in budget and in line with quality criteria.



  • Support the LACE model in the Land, Adopt and Expand phases, assisting during the sales and presales cycle by providing oversight to the implementation planning & scoping estimates.
  • Confirm project scope and objectives with customers and partners and ensure that these are realistic in terms of functional feasibility, product capabilities (e.g., integrations), effort and timeline.
  • Conduct the project planning activities and manage the execution of large scale, high risk, or strategic projects.
  • Manage overall services relationship between customer, partner, and SAP internal stakeholders to ensure that projects / programs are delivered on-time, within budget and with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide day-to-day management in the delivery and deployment of the SAP Fieldglass application and related services to clients.
  • Schedule and lead key project routines such as meetings, status reporting, issues management and mitigation, etc.
  • Own quality of implementation and ensure methodology is adhered to in each project
  • Evaluate complex situations accurately and identify viable solutions that create successful outcome for the customer.
  • Represent SAP Fieldglass as an application subject matter expert (SME) by providing sound consultation to customers and partners on how to use the SAP Fieldglass application as part of their larger external workforce management programme
  • Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to project team; review quality of work and manage integration of team members’ work; provide performance input to project team members’ functional management.




  • As we are an international team with focus on the region Middle and Eastern Europe and you will be working with internal and external colleagues from all over the globe, we require business fluent English and German language skills (any other language will be a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters or PMP (a plus), and several yrs. of related experience, with an emphasis on software implementation or integration
  • Clear communication style, both written & verbal, with the ability to provide consultation to partners and customers, while managing expectations
  • Leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers and team members
  • Liaison and consultative skills: negotiating skills within a context of high political sensitivity and conflicting interests.
  • Proven record of de-escalated customers with C Level involvement
  • Organized with the ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast-paced culture
  • Good knowledge of SAP’s Cloud portfolio: several yrs. of experience in Cloud products and its deployment is a must
  • Experience with managing the deployment of SAP Fieldglass products is mandatory for this role. Additional exposure to products of the Intelligent Spend portfolio (e.g. Ariba) is preferred
  • Experience working across functions such as sales, development, and customer support
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence, combined with a roll up your sleeves approach and the ability to execute
  • Native or Full Professional German and English
