YOUR FUTURE ROLE

 

The selected candidate is expected to work in a team of colleagues with the goal to boost the success of our Procurement products.

 

The chosen candidate will be working as a link between our product management and engineering organization and the colleagues who are working directly with our customers (e.g. Customer Engagement Executives). The role will include the enablement of the customer-facing group by informing about new features that will be delivered shortly and ensuring that customer-facing group understands how these features fit into the overall product landscape. At the same time in this role the Product Associate/Specialist will be the point of contact to create information material on how new features are being activated considering the different supported starting points of our customers. During the product planning phase the person in this role will work closely with Product Management and Engineering to discuss the supported and planned migration paths for the installed customer case, helping prioritizing migration support tools and bringing in the voice of the customer. 

 

This role combines a strong technical understanding of migration and activation scenarios with a deep understanding of the customer’s situation and point of view. The Product Associate/Specialist working in this role will be working as a multiplier and enabler making SAP Procurement products better understood and easier to consume for our customers.

 

The Product Associate/Specialist works also closely together with the global market units to identify region specific migration and customization askes to streamline communication and support for prioritization towards the product management team. 

 

The key tasks will include:

 

  • Identify current existing white spots when it comes to customer-facing team enablement and migration scenarios relevant for our customers
  • Working as a multiplier towards the customer-facing teams to enable them to support customers in migration and new feature activation scenarios
  • Working as a connecting link towards the customer’s migration and implementation expectations and the product and engineering team

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

Role Requirements:

 

  • A Post Graduate Degree in (Business) Informatics or similar
  • Excellent presentation, communication and networking skills, ideally combined with a strong sense for influencing and messaging
  • Strong and proven requirement management skills
  • Strategic analytical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Entrepreneurial and “can-do” attitude, capable of continuously adapting to changes and adjusting focus in a fast-moving changing environment
  • A strong motivator, mindful & inclusive team player with a humble and positive mindset
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills in English

 

Work Experience

 

  • Several years of work experience including a proven track record of customer-facing experience with proven understanding of migration and feature activation requirements
  • Experience in working with customer-facing groups and customers
  • Strong enablement and multiplier skills
  • Excellent understanding of SAP‘s Procurement product strategy and product portfolio
