What you'll do

As a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will support our teams in their scaled agile adoption and execution. You will collaborate with other RTEs across the organization to share best practices for applying agile in our unit and coach the teams to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. 

This will be key helping to further improve how we plan, deliver, and operate core solutions supporting marketing processes at SAP in a most agile & flexible approach to ultimately enable a best-in class marketing automation platform as part of SAP’s hybrid Marketing Architecture landscape. 

 
You will: 

- Coordinate across multiple teams as servant leader and coach
- Facilitate events and processes to synchronize for an Agile Release Train
- Assist the teams in delivering value
- Communicate with stakeholders and escalate impediments
- Help manage risk and dependencies
- Drive relentless improvement
- Understand scaled Lean and Agile practices
- Establish and communicate annual Program Increment (PI) Planning Calendars
- Facilitate PI Planning
- Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks

 

What you bring
- Ability to work in an agile environment and the willingness to grow personally and professionally  
- Positive attitude paired with a good portion of curiosity and a customer-centric service attitude  
- Good interpersonal skills enabling seamless collaboration on all levels of execution  
- You encourage being empowered and accountable at the same time

 

Experience: 
- 5+ years professional work experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), as either Scrum Master and/or Release Train Engineer, ideally in large Corporation
- Certification as SAFe Program Consultant SPC is a plus
- Experience in setting up the Value Streams and/or Agile Release Trains
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German language skill a plus
