The SAP Industries and Customer Advisory (ICA) organization is committed to SAP’s vision of helping the world run better and improve people’s lives. What you’ll do:


Position title: SAP Communications iXp Intern (f/m/d)
Work Area: Communication
Location: Walldorf, Germany (remote work possible within Germany)
Expected start date: June 2022

 

In this role, you’ll:

 

  • Help produce a biweekly newsletter that reaches 5,000 colleagues across two board areas – some writing and editing required 
  • Keep our team event calendar up-to-date and assist in the planning and execution of key internal events, e.g., quarterly all-hands meetings and employee coffee corners. 
  • Curate content and manage our internal communication channels in SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, SAP Jam, etc. to ensure a steady flow of regional news and content across our teams. 
  • Support social media activities  
  • Schedule and track project tasks for the team as needed (great for gaining project management experience) and communications metrics to help us measure and improve  
  • Participate in and help drive team initiatives to evaluate and develop new and creative communication formats
  • Support communications by managing our event invitations, mailing lists, mailbox, and feedback channels

 

Who you are:


You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
This position requires a candidate who has:

  • A background in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing
  • Fluency in English, with strong writing and editing skills as demonstrated by a cover letter and, if available, 1-3 samples of writing (e.g., blogs, published articles, and school compositions) 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint 
  • Social media savvy, especially with LinkedIn and Twitter, as well as familiarity with Instagram and TikTok 
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments and follow through on commitments

Not required, but would be taken into consideration:

  • Prior work experience, e.g., working at SAP, newsletter production, feature writing, etc.
  • Experience with video editing and design  
  • Conversational or written competency in a language other than English
