About the team


Enterprise Cloud Services Data Protection Office is the ‘guardian’ of the SAP Data Protection Management System (DPMS) in Enterprise Cloud Services under the Board Area Product Engineering. SAP DPMS and its corresponding requirements is to achieve and maintain an effective and appropriate level of data protection and privacy and to reinforce the position of SAP as a trusted partner for its customers. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about making a difference and who would like to become part of a dynamic and positive team!  

 

What you’ll do

The candidate will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders on many different data protection topics and support in the following tasks:

  • Regularly meet with our Data Protection unit coordinators / representatives 
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (e.g. legal and Data Protection & Privacy experts) 
  • Support the DP Unit Coordinator with the implementation of the dp requirements to work towards data protection compliance 
  • Coordinate Procedure Enrollment 
  • Support the release of newsletter or DP-relevant information to regional DP representatives
  • Maintain and update information such as Wiki pages, SharePoint, and on MS Teams
  • Support Enterprise Cloud Services Data Protection Audits
  • Support Data Protection Office in daily operations and business tasks on need basis, provide ad-hoc reporting on need basis

 

Who you are


You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Legal Studies or comparable
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Strong MS Office knowledge and experience
  • Ability to solve the problems with ‘think out of the box’ attitude
  • Very good communication, presentation, and networking skills
  • Proactive and independent working attitude
  • Passionate and curious to learn, improve and develop

 

Knowledge of data protection topics would be an advantage!


Learning & Development Opportunities


You will gain strong insights into various GDPR topics and also other legal regulations across the world. Additionally, you will get first-hand experience on how the DPMS System is implemented at SAP and learn how the onboarding of new requirements into our DPMS System is ensured.

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
