Summary & Role Information:

The Security Architect (Senior) Secialist (f/m/d) is responsible for the security architecture engagement and enablement between a dedicated SAP Cloud Business Unit and the Defensive Architecture Team. He supports them in understanding the current threat landscape, the impact it has within their unit, and assists in developing a proactive, comprehensive, manageable, and enforceable method to remove/reduce risks and threats.

You will analyze and design security solutions and architectures for Cloud scenarios, applications and infrastructures at SAP. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and assist in developing architectural strategies, roadmaps, and progress reports. You will also collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure security standards and secure frameworks are being used and implemented.

The role is an enabler for career progression as a security professional as it has the right mixture of technical security domains together with constant customer engagement.

As a member of SAP's security family you will play a major role in increasing the company's security posture, protecting it against threats and making the company a save and trusted place for its customers.


Experience/ Role Requirements: 

 

  • 6-8 years professional experience in IT and/or Cybersecurity, preferably with focus on Security Architecture
  • Graduate in Computer Science or IT Security and/or equivalent Security Certifications (CISSP, CISA, CCSP or relevant SANS certifications)
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships and achieve broader organizational goals
  • Strong understanding of security requirements, capability of translating them for stakeholder needs
  • Strong innovative, critical thinker, quick Learner, passionate, motivated, self-managed
  • Profound ability to work in a virtual team with consistent success
  • Knowledge in SAP business system management or SAP authorization concepts (SAP NetWeaver, S/4 HANA, SAP HANA) is an asset
