What you´ll do
The Partner and Workforce Management team for Global Cloud Services (GCS) actively steers our Partner Ecosystem across all cloud service domains (Hyperscalers, hardware, software, and professional services) by introducing multi-year partner strategy and executing partner success initiative to ensure the optimal strategic sourcing. 

As a Senior Supplier Management Specialist (f/m/d) within the GCS Partner & Workforce Management team, you will develop and take responsibility for the following tasks:
•    Understand, summarize, consolidate and manage GSC category infrastructure demand, budget planning and specific requirements
•    Translate demand in Service / SW requirements and review / align with GCS business owner 
•    Owner of the cost efficiency and performance of respective suppliers including relevant market check / benchmarking of all services
•    Select, review, refine and improve the strategic partner & supplier ecosystem    
•    Support the day-to-day GCS supplier management and take accountability of managing one or more major global Partner to ensure service delivery.
•    Evolve, develop and foster the partner relationship and vendor management process maturity including the relevant governance/account management for specific categories or services
•    Support supplier negotiation, jointly with GPO, driven with business analysis evolve partnership also under adverse circumstances
•    Work with our sales and market units to define a suitable partner play to cover specific markets
•    Establish close relationship with all stakeholders driving GCS future strategic Partner roadmap

 

What you bring
•    6+ years of related professional experience working with IT Services providers/partners/vendors
•    Strong affinity for networking and building lasting relationships with partners/vendors
•    Understanding of cloud infrastructure and service models
•    Strong communication skills in English language with the ability to express and present complex matters in a crisp and easy consumable fashion, ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships across functions, levels and geographies, internally and externally. 
•    Project/Program management skills in international and global initiatives
•    Ability to challenge status quo with strong analytical skills & ability and drive innovation
•    Experience gained in purchasing services ideally with focus on Public IaaS, software partners as well as general infrastructure services 
•    Experience managing complex and high-volume business in multi-location and multi-partner environments
