YOUR FUTURE ROLE

 

As a Senior User Experience Designer (f/m/d) in our team, you are passionate about creating solutions for real problems that create value and be enjoyable. Understanding the usecase of each user type, their environment and motivations is self-evident for you.

 

  • You can create experiences that go beyond a single product and you can drive and develop them from concept til implementation.
  • You take responsibility to moderate and drive large scale design decision across multiple teams, you challenge requirements and solutions always with the problem and user in mind.
  • You can coach and consult our product owners and engineers on different UX methods throughout every project phase, you are not a theorist instead you can always guide and work in a practical and efficient way.
  • You don’t back off on making your hands dirty, you like to negotiate about the design scope as well as creating a nice hand-on visual if required.
  • You will define, create and communicate new user experiences and interaction concepts that will involve multiple new or existing products and user journeys.
  • You love to design and you can argue every decision you do based on design methods and best-practices.

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design / Product Design / User Experience Design or related fields.
  • several years of work experience in Interaction Design / Product Design / User Experience Design.
  • multiple years experience working within agile software development teams or lean UX setup
  • Profound knowledge of UX methodologies & artefacts, especially in early design phases (scoping, research, concept)
  • Experience in taking responsibility to driving large scale design decision across multiple products and user journeys
  • Strong capability to understand and translate complex processes and requirements into intuitive user experience flows interfaces.
  • Excellent skills in visualizing and communicating your concepts and ideas in a clear, structured, and coherent way
  • Outstanding communication skills in order to drive design decisions in close collaboration with senior management, product owners, engineers and stakeholders. 
  • Experience in creating user journeys, user flows and user story maps.
  • In-depth analytical skills, structured working approach and good interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in low and high-fidelity prototyping with design tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Sketch, or Figma
  • A strong, clean visual design sense and experience with modern design systems 
  • Fluent English and German language skills are mandatory.
  • Explicit coaching and moderation skills in design thinking or other innovation methods are a plus

 

Our team is distributed across various countries in Europe. The majory tough is located in Walldorf. Due to the current situation most of us work from home but we love to meet in person for workshops or other sessions. Therefore, you need to be located closed enough to come by.
