Solution Advisor (Senior) Specialist (f/m/d) - Fieldglass Procurement Adoption Team EMEA/MEE

The Fieldglass-Procurement Adoption team is a sub-team within the Procurement Adoption Team (PAT). The PAT organization is a member of the Intelligent Adoption and Consumption Center (IA&C) which supports SAP cloud lines of business as part of the overall LACE strategy. The Fieldglass-Procurement Adoption Team has a specific focus on the SAP Fieldglass solution.


Fieldglass-Procurement Adoption Advisors (f/m/d) work directly with cross-functional teams to drive positive customer outcomes in support of SAP’s customer first strategy. The Adoption Advisor (f/m/d) in this role will work with a dynamic, global team of experts who not only help customers but also actively support one another and serve as recognized experts within the organization primarily focused on SAP’s Fieldglass solutions.




As a member of the PAT you will support SAP goals of delivering customer value by driving solution adoption which in turn delivers: renewals, references, upsells, and increased NPS in the following ways:


Front Engagement

  • Act as the liaison between the Front Office, Fieldglass Product Success, and the Intelligent Adoption & Consumption Center
  • Support critical customer engagements within the Market Unit


In-depth 1:1 customer engagement

  • Align with the Fieldglass Product Success teams to review customer business objectives, Contingent Workforce Management processes, and Ariba/ Fieldglass solution usage and then craft and deliver tailored recommendations and an executable strategy to enable the customers desired business outcomes
  • One-to-one sessions with a customer focused on delivering a solution to a pre-defined and existing use case to enable further adoption


Create scalable knowledge content and tools

  • Create scalable knowledge and adoption content to be leveraged by Front roles, customers, Fieldglass Product Success team, account managers, consulting, and partners to advance customer objectives
  • Examples of content include: Conversations of Value, hands-on lab scripts, how-to videos, and Value Accelerators
  • Scalable knowledge content allows us to reach and assist many customers across all geographies and enable customers to utilize the full extent of features and functionalities imbedded in the solutions to drive desired outcomes.


Strategic Events participation

  • Customer Success Days / Adoption Labs – deliver expert advice and impart knowledge to customers in a 1:many setting – serving many customers during a single customer-themed event
  • SAPPHIRE, SAP Forums, and related events: knowledge delivery as well as 1:1 expert sessions with customers


Support PAT Development

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PAT team by sharing knowledge, best practices, process improvements, and case studies of completed engagements with your colleagues across the globe.




  • Deep technical and functional expertise in the SAP Fieldglass solutions and products  
  • Fluent in English; additional languages preferred
  • Several years customer-facing experience
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and foster trust-based relationships at all levels with customers
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (currently at 0% due to Covid-19) 
  • Deep understanding of Contingent Workforce Management and Services Procurement is desirable
  • SQL knowledge and experience preferred but not necessary to perform the role
  • Ability to support multiple time zones, continents, and cultures
