What you'll do

  • Support the project management of activities in improving the infrastructure cost of cloud services
  • Perform the regular purchase of cloud infrastructure based on internal and external demand/forecasting 
  • Continuously analyze the optimal utilization level of each data center to get closer to the maximal saving potential 
  • Identify the gaps in the infrastructure purchase process and raise proper recommendations
  • Prepare, plan the meetings in a coordinate way with stakeholders, summarize the meeting notes and track down the action items
  • Support other ad-hoc requests for TCO improvement 

 

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in the following fields of study: Business Administration / Business Informatics / Computer Science / Data Science 
  • Good command of MS Office, specifically high level in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Business fluent both in English and German is a plus
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge in Cloud infrastructure preferred
  • Interest and enthusiasm in new technology 
  • Good and reliable communication skills in a highly complex organization 
  • Good analytics skills and self-driven working style 

 

Meet your team
Our Business Steering & Operations Team within the SAP HANA Database & Analytics Office of the COO manages business operations and provides analytical insights via the Digital Boardroom for the SAP HANA Database & Analytics (HD&A) Development organization. HD&A is tasked with bringing powerful product and platform services capabilities together to harness the potential of the full data value chain, these include SAP’s database, data-management, analytics, and data warehouse portfolio - creating entirely new products and experiences that enable our customers, partners and LoBs to get the insights that they need to both understand the past and predict the future with full confidence based on data they can trust.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
