What you'll do

 

  • Act as coordinator (you know how to navigate in the agile world) between the worlds of Product Management and Engineering and Cross Teams
  • Translate planning outcomes into JIRA items
  • Track progress, create transparency and visibility of delivered items, postponed items, scope reductions etc. in JIRA
  • Map JIRA to roadmap items and vice versa
  • Come up with JIRA reporting and dashboards that allows us to automate those views
  • Follow up with the teams to make sure JIRA is always up-to-date and reflecting the agreed upon items
  • Identify process improvements

 

What you bring

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • JIRA – good experience and the passion to become an expert 
  • Agile-savvy
  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus
  • Positive and can-do attitude, eager to learn, passionate about Technology, Agile and Cloud Development
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills, being able to successfully include remote located team members
  • Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint
  • Technical skills: some basic IT knowledge / fundamentals and basicexperience in Python, JavaScript or comparable scripting languages

The SAP HANA Database team is a deep technical, globally distributed team who needs your help!  We are developing a high-performance cloud database.
We are looking for a curious, communicative and structured master of chaos who knows how to use JIRA as efficient tool to getting things efficiently done.
We need you to help us navigate and coordinate our complex, distributed release planning and development process. 

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
