What you´ll do

 

  • Learn about SAP products and customer target groups over trainings and self-assessments
  • Execute proactive digital and telephone campaigns to generate interest for SAP S4/HANA
  • Get in direct contact with the customers’ C-level decisionmakers (CIOs, CFOs, etc.) to create additional sales opportunities and convince them of a timely follow-up appointment
  • Apply new digital sales methods like digital campaigns, videos, social selling and podcasts
  • Support and advertise customer events to increase the validity of the sales opportunities
  • Gain product expertise to generate customer interest as a digital influencer

 

What you bring

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Languages: depending on the job location, fluent German and English skills are a must
  • Interests and affinity for IT solutions, basic knowledge of ERP software is a plus
  • Analytical skills and the ability to grasp and work with complex concepts
  • Being familiar with social media platforms (for example XING and LinkedIn to generate leads)
  • Willingness to give presentations in front of customers, sales experience is advantageous
  • Good communication, networking skills and character of a team player
  • Responsibility, creativity and the ability to drive topics open-mindedly and focused on the end-result


Meet your team

 

The Sales Demand Executive Organization (SDE Team) is a core function of the MEE Digital Hub, which strives for a higher sales pipeline with a simultaneous increase of the opportunity quality. The team is a key part of the midmarket sales organization and is responsible for serving small and midsize companies. The department is working cross-regional with activities in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Central & Eastern Europe countries. In the course of outbound (“push”) and inbound (“pull”) activities, the SDEs concretize the customers’ software demand and are in direct contact with the relevant decision makers. Consequently, this department is a very important part of the cloud ERP sales process.


Many customers nurtured by the SDEs come from the Digital Supply Chain (DSC) business area.  In the figurative sense, the DSC sales team is responsible for preventing empty shelves and product supply bottlenecks by specializing on the sale of cloud-based software solutions to optimize supply chains for customers in Middle and Eastern Europe. The portfolio includes solutions for the entire value chain from Design (e.g., SAP Enterprise Product Design), Planning (e.g., SAP Integrated Business Planning), Manufacturing (e.g., SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud), Delivery (e.g., SAP Extended Warehouse Management) to Plant Operation (e.g., SAP Field Service Management). The sustainability aspect of the supply chain is thereby becoming more and more important.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
