ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

To support future growth of the German Market Unit, we are looking for Services Sales Manager for SAP Cloud Business Solutions: SAP Success Factors and SAP HYBRIS & C4C. The Cloud Services Sales Manager is responsible to set up and implement innovative sales strategies, to manage a dedicated sales team and the achievement of predefined sales targets (order entry). The main goal is to drive SAP's cloud strategy on the market.

The person will report directly to Head of Innovation Services Sales Germany.

 

As SAP Services, we support our customers in the design and optimization of their business and core processes in terms of strategic, business and technological views.

With state of the art knowledge, innovative and future-oriented services and the use of the latest methods, we prepare our customers for future developments and minimize risks to promote growth strategies and innovation.

Cloud Services Sales acquires Cloud implementation and transformation projects (from on-premise into the cloud) based on future-oriented SAP cloud business solutions.

The goal is to develop strategies for digitized sales, marketing and HCM business processes in close collaboration with the SAP licensing colleagues for our customers and to position the SAP cloud solutions.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Drive Cloud Services

  • Drive Services Sales success with specific focus on Cloud Services for customers LoBs (Marketing/Sales & Human Resources)
  • Provide leadership and guidance with regards to Cloud LoB Services selling
  • Create interest, positioning offering, preparing and selling value proposition and finally deal closing
  • Build and execute a Cloud Services Sales GTM plan
  • Elaborate Services offerings in close cooperation with the account teams and directly with prospects and customers
  • Effectively manages resources, dedicating quality time and leveraging the company’s resources
  • Supports the development of solid references
  • Builds a network of relationships across industry, community and business groups
  • Create and drive together with marketing department customer campaigns & events

 

Leadership & People

  • Services Sales Management responsibility for a team of approximately 10 Services Sales Experts
  • Be a role model, find the balance between managing the team and closing top deals
  • Build Route-2-Budget plan with each team member
  • Drive each sales team member toward expected quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Recruit high caliber sales talents
  • Ensure every team member has a training & development plan

 

Operational Sales Excellence

  • Forecasting to achieve budget and achieving forecasts as committed
  • Demonstrates outstanding execution track along sales cycle, ensuring SAP’s sales methodologies and common processes are in place
  • Work professionally and successfully with SAP stakeholders:
    1. License sales to support and accelerate Cloud deals
    2. Industry sectors to identify new cloud opportunities
    3. Industry Services sales to accelerate Cloud Services success
    4. Marketing & Demand Generation to build pipeline
    5. Services Delivery organization

 

Customer Engagement

  • Personal involvement important in customer deals and closing activities

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science
  • Confidence to deal with Executive level
  • Good understanding of LoB Business Processes and Cloud paradigms
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills
  • Experience in SAP product applications (HCM and Sales/Marketing)
  • Executional Excellence with ability to consistently achieve results and exceed targets
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organizations
  • Business language is German and English
  • Highly driven self-starter


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Several years of experience in selling Cloud Services and/or Business Applications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ sales management experience (quota carrying).
  • SAP License and/or Service Sales experiences within an industry or cross
  • Experience in Cloud Business Solutions like Success Factors, Hybris, C4C or similar experience
