EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

SAP Commercial Sales Teams sell innovative products to business users using phone, virtual studios, social media, mobile and the latest big-data tools available – in short: they embrace SAP’s DIGITAL SALES MOTION.

The Digital Demand Executives leads the way how business is identified by:

  • executing proactive outbound calls to net new contacts and follow-up incoming leads, nurture and convert them to high quality business opportunities
  • applying new sales methods like SAP’s DIGITAL SALES MOTION and Social Selling and by leveraging the latest tools and technologies in the market
  • organizing joint sales campaigns with commercial sales executives and partners, further develop the campaign concept, increase efficiency by improved customer selection based on latest market data
  • developing industry and / or product expertise
  • aligning with external agencies and enable their staff to adequately position SAP solutions according to customer industry requirements.

Our Digital Demand Executives are customer focused with good business acumen. They must understand business needs quickly and be able to translate problems to solutions with SAPs products.
This position requires both strategic and detailed thinking, strong initiative and deep knowledge of how to leverage social and web media to influence business leaders and become their trusted advisors.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to network within a client´s organization and access decision makers, preferably using Basho or similar approaches
  • Understand client business needs and pain points
  • Critical business judgment and comfort making recommendations to senior executives, preferably using the Challenger Sales or similar approach
  • Must be a search affine and active in social media to generate leads, for example Twitter, blogging, Xing, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Good IT/ preferably business software knowledge and understanding of SAP solutions
  • Strong in teamwork; ability to learn and adapt quickly; energetic and goal oriented
  • Native-level German speaker mandatory, fluent business English skill of high advantage
  • Bachelor equivalent mandatory, preferably in business or IT-related discipline, Master equivalent preferable

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Marketing or Sales experience with knowledge on demand generation topics of high advantage
  • Experience in developing and executing demand generation initiatives
  • Proven ability to develop and leverage internal and external partner relationships
