PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Many new exciting topics in consumer industries redefine today’s end customer shopping experience. Thus our mission is to evolve the SAP offerings to enable cloud scenarios, integrate machine learning technologies, extend mobile scenarios, and connect with social media contents. Join a young and agile development team that is driving innovations related to the way how companies engage with the digital native consumers.
Product data repositories, digital marketing, and order management across channels are some of the areas in which we are investing. With SAP as The Cloud Company, we mainly focus on providing innovations in the cloud.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
•    Research, plan, and create clear, concise, and technically accurate content or update existing content. Deliverables include terminology, primary help (UI texts), context-sensitive help, videos, social media content, and guides for installation, configuration
•    Express complex and abstract information (such as planning algorithms or business processes) in a clear and precise manner to ensure easy consumption by the target group
•    Collaborate with development teams and fellow technical writers/translators across various time zones to produce customer-focused content in high quality
•    Assume responsibility for the creation and delivery of product documentation according SAP’s Standards & Guidelines
•    Show willingness to take on miscellaneous documentation-related coordination tasks 
•    Keep up-to-date with relevant industry and technology trends


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
•    Excellent bachelor or master degree in Technical Writing, IT, Business Studies or a related subject or, alternatively, another language-based university degree
•    Excellent written and spoken English, native speaker of English preferred
•    Good written and spoken level of German
•    Outstanding communication, writing, and grammar skills
•    Experience in authoring in a DITA-based platform, or other unstructured authoring tool
•    Ability to work to tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality
•    Basic project management skills
•    Proven experience in working independently and being self-motivated 
•    Customer-oriented work attitude
•    Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements


WORK EXPERIENCE
This is an entry level for candidates with up to two years work experience.
