PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a business partner in the Finance & Administration board area, the Global Treasury department is primarily responsible for the capital market strategy, internal and external funding, global financial risk management and the cash and asset management of the SAP Group.
In order to fulfill these tasks, Global Treasury is in close contact with several external partners, such as banks, debt investors, rating agencies and auditors as well as internal partners like Controlling, Tax, Corporate Accounting and Investor Relations.

You support the team Treasury Operations & Processes to enhance SAP’s position as a thought leader in the Cash Management area. As a team member you will support bank account management, liquidity centralization, the payment factory and overall process optimization based on SAP Applications.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Cash Management (liquidity centralization, Cash Pooling, In-House operations)
  • Supporting process optimization, automation and standardization under the usage of SAP’s standard applications
  • Administration of bank accounts, signature authorizations and Electronic Banking systems
  • Assuring and controlling compliance in signature authorizations
  • Supporting cross-departmental and global projects like the integration of acquired companies
  • Perform Treasury related analysis and reporting and the preparation of business cases
  • Close collaboration with globally distributed Treasury colleagues, Tax, Accounting, Regional CFOs, SAP Standard Development and the Shared Services Organization
  • Active collaboration with external contacts like Banks and External Auditors 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Studies in business administration or economics with a focus on Corporate Finance / Treasury / Banking
  • First experience in Treasury or Banking related matters
  • Knowledge in SAP’s Finance applications and good accounting skills
  • Self-driven personality and team player with a passion and high motivation for Treasury
  • High analytical and strong communication skills
  • Capable to work in a global, virtual environment, covering various time zones
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office
  • Strategic thinking and creativity as a basis for acting as business partner and transformation agent
  • Very good skills in written and verbal English and German 

WORK EXPERIENCE
First professional experience in treasury or at a bank is an important factor.
