PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DM<) serves SAP customers in managing their data and transforming their landscapes. Business, market, and technology changes often result in a realignment of business processes and structures. This reflects in various IT-based activities, such as consolidation of system landscapes, harmonization and optimization of processes and data, or reorganization of corporate structures. We support and advise our customers globally in strategy definition, conceptual planning, and the realization of their business and IT transformation requirements. And we help SAP customers move to S/4HANA, and pave the way into the digital business world.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are looking for a working student who will assist us on an hourly basis in operating our system landscape, which consists of different Business Suite Systems, as well as S/4 HANA Systems and Cloud Platform Accounts. Your main tasks will include:

  • Execution and verification of backups
  • System administration and optimization
  • Installations and removals of SAP systems
  • Administration of transports
  • End-User support

There are learning opportunities regarding the Setup and the Administration of HANA, S/4 HANA and Business Suite Systems, Virtualization Techniques and potentially in the BigData Area.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m) - preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable
  • Computer skills: Knowledge about Windows Server, Linux, Scripting, SQL
  • Language skills: English, German is a plus
  • Soft skills: motivated, self-contained, team worker, quality awareness
