The Category Procurement Facility Management (CP FM) – as part of the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) - is THE internal procurement business and transformation partner for Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) and Global Physical Security (GPS). The main objective of the procurement team is to identify optimization potential on spend structure and management, mainly by negotiating and optimizing commercial and service agreements with partners globally but also by developing strategies with GRF and GPS to optimize the spend portfolio.


The Category Procurement Facility Management is currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate and eager to learn working student. The role will be based in Walldorf, Germany but being part of a highly diverse and international (global) team. It requires to develop a broad network not only within the German and the global team, but also within the Global Procurement Organization, our internal customers (GRF and GPS), other Lines of Business (LoB) and external partners.

Some of the key areas of responsibility are:

  • Administration of different data sources and reports for the category team, such as but not limited to Contract Management and Savings & Spend reporting
  • Acting as the first point of contact for individual user requests, such as providing guidance on the use of systems and tools, obtaining quotations for special requests
  • Contributing to projects (Request for Proposals and similar as well as technology and process related)
  • Proactively supporting the team for example in presentations, meetings, conference call scheduling and similar administrative tasks

Additional areas of responsibility may be identified over the time depending on the candidate’s strengths and interests. The key for the successful candidate is being eager to learn, a keen interest to Real Estate & Facilities as well as a high affinity to technology.


  • Student at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Any if high affinity to business administrative and/ or technology topics   
  • Computer skills: MS Office (required, esp. Excel, Power Point), any SAP Technology is a plus
  • Language skills:  German, English (both fluent verbal and written), additional languages are a plus 
  • Soft skills: High Service Attitude, strong communication skills, highly team oriented, strong networking attitude, strong confidence to work in diverse and international teams

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages as well.
