PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Sales Academy for Early Talent was founded in Q4 2013 with a mission to bring in high potential early talent and train and develop them to be the next generation sales force at SAP.
The Field Transformation and Readiness for Early Talent organization has now been established to build upon the strong foundation of the 9 month Academy program and continue to support the development journey of these associates in the field.  The core focus of this team will be to increase sales productivity and business impact by creating an optimal field experience for our associates to accelerate their development in sales, both during and after the Academy program, up through year 3 of their tenure with SAP. The team is responsible for all field related activities from demand planning and recruiting through year 3 with SAP. They will partner closely with the Academy faculty to ensure close integration of classroom learning with experiential learning during the Market Unit field rotations.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Special project work – e. g. Sales Impact Summit, onboarding days, training activities, development concepts, peer 2 peer learning
  • Maintenance of Associate Excel Master file – tracking changes of associates in program and graduates after program.
  • Program Reporting including gathering input on activities carried out by Associates during the program (all excel based); collection and analysis of performance data.
  • Create/maintain a dashboard
  • The student will work in an international environment with regional Sales Academy leaders as well as with global program managers.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student at university or university of applied sciences
  • Preferred field(s) of study: Business Administration
  • Computer skills: MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Language skills: English, German
  • Soft skills: High attention to detail; strong communication skills; organized working style; pro-active; fast-paced, analytical skills
  • Others: Discretion in order to deal with personal data is an absolute must
