PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
You are creative enthusiast interested in creating UI animations and microinteractions. You will be working together with other professionals on UI and microinteractions workstream, creating solutions for leading business software. You will have the opportunity to learn and advance your skills in prototyping UI business applications, as well as animating content to showcase product features.
The SAP Design UX team defines the face of the SAP products. We have dramatically simplified our user experience with SAP Fiori (https://experience.sap.com/fiori). You will become part of an exciting and international team of designers that works in the heart of SAP with touch points to all continents and cultures.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Understanding in best practices and standards for UI/UX.
  • Creating user interface animations and microinteractions for desktop and mobile applications.
  • You are able to produce high quality UI animations and transitions.
  • Creating video or interactive prototypes.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student at a university or university of applied Sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Multimedia Communications, Media Studies, Media Technology, Film and Media Arts, Multimedia Web Productions, Journalism or any related fields
  • Computer skills: Experience with prototyping software (Framer, Flinto, After Effects, or similar)
  • Language skills: Good communication skills in English (written and verbal), communication skills in German are a plus.
  • Soft skills:     
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
    • Team player, curious and open minded, creative, highly motivated
    • Ability to learn quickly and to adapt to new situations
  • Design skills: 
    • Creative thinking, as well as understanding of best practices in UI/UX.
    • Understanding of how to design and produce microinteractions and animated UIs.
    • Basic understanding of easing curves, timing and principles of animation.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
