YOUR FUTURE ROLE


The GSSP Partner Business Manager (PBM) is a field-based employee that leads Global Strategic Services Partners (GSSP) for the main 3 countries across Central & Eastern Europe and Solution Extensions Partners for entire CEE.

 

SAP Global Strategic Services Partners (GSSP) are integral to deploy and support SAP solutions for clients, ranging from small- to global-scale implementations. Services partners assist SAP customers design, implement, and integrate SAP solutions, optimize business processes; instill best practices; and provide strategic business consulting that complements the SAP portfolio. Some of the world‘s leading consulting organizations are SAP services partners that work both at a global, regional and local level, serving our largest and most profitable customers.
 
The Partner Business Management Expert will be responsible for driving the incremental sales execution together with the Line of Businesses in the CEE region for the GSSP Portfolio and establish the vision, direction, operating plan and delivery. In this role, you will work closely with sales, presales, business development, marketing and services in order to prioritize solutions, identify target groups, sharpen the positioning within respective industries, agree on Go-To-Market activities and enable relevant roles. 
 
You will be responsible for a specific revenue target, driving significant business opportunities for SAP by raising the awareness of the GSSPs offerings and coordinating the interaction with the internal and external stakeholders within the respective market unit. You will define an appropriate Go to Market strategy – including collaboration and working model as well as critical competences needed to be able to execute on the plan in alignment with global and MEE counterparts. As well to assist the global team in the optimization of SAP’s partner portfolio.  
 
This role will also include the following tasks:

  • Responsible for the holistic management and representation of the key GSSPs Partners, and for managing and developing the partner following a disciplined business planning process to expand their partner’s business with SAP, together with the Line of Businesses. 
  • Responsible for sales of SAP cloud services and software licenses with and through partners across SAP’s portfolio and establishing an advisory relationship with the partner and SAP teams.   
  • Support sales with commercial and deal structuring related topics and assure to comply with the global reseller agreements between partners and SAP. If needed interact with Global Licensing and/or Legal.
  • Plans and executes Go-To-Market activities within the market unit for 3rd Party Solutions: Builds & executes on annual operational plans to support revenue targets (stakeholder & portfolio coverage, enablement & alignment with key industries & sales teams, marketing plans on country level, etc.)
  • Ignite the whole MEE organization around BU and solution sales – creating a winning, entrepreneurial and innovative spirit – where the best ideas and plans get executed across the entire region. Lead via influencing the forces rather than command and control.
  • Investigate and initiate product initiatives and business plans, in order to take advantage of market opportunities, including establishment of new offerings or entering new markets together with the Line of Businesses.
  • Provide expertise in understanding the external competitive landscape and ensure SAP is market leading not following.

 
YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science or in related discipline preferred
  • Solid sales or business development/demand generation experience
  • Act strong and secure with senior management executives
  • Very good understanding of how to create value through partnering and how to successfully execute on alliances. Familiar with SAP, its products and solutions, processes, partners, markets and competition.
  • Business experience, preferably with a major high technology corporation or strategic consulting firm to forge initiatives and go-to-market plans with partners
  • High impact interpersonal, networking, presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent English and any other Central or Eastern European language skills are mandatory
  • 8+ years professional working experience in the software industry
  • Ideally several years in a customer or partner facing role and strong sales background
  • Strong analytical skills in combination with strong focus on results and high level of service orientation
