This role plays a key part in fulfilling this mandate and improving every customer interaction irrespective of the touchpoint, the evolution of e-commerce, or improving the way our websites support customers to fulfil their needs. You will as an Scrum Master work in the team that is responsible for shaping and the adoption of CXS and IES wide Data Infrastructure & Analytics Services. These services accelerate and enable value-add data driven customer experience solutions. All key customer engagement touchpoints like SAP.com, SAP Community and SAP for Me will adopt the mentioned services and associated Architecture patterns. The role is positioned in the global unit Customer Experience Solutions (CXS) in the Intelligent Enterprise Services (IES) which strives to provide and evolve a seamless and superior experience in the area of SAP’s customer-facing IT.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks: 

  • you coach the team members on good agile practices and helping them to improve further;
  • you empower self-organization and Lean thinking within the delivery process;
  • you encourage engineering teams to continuously improve and refine their Agile practices;
  • you facilitate the needs of a team and the organizational culture, including knowledge transfer;
  • you make processes and bottlenecks transparent and encourage face-to-face-communication where possible;
  • you remove blockers within and outside the teams;
  • you help our Product Owners on Backlog grooming, iteration, and release plan creation, as well as team planning and alignment;
  • you lead by example and behave as a role model;
  • you work closely together with the other Scrum Masters and Agile Coach.


Learning & Development Opportunities

  • Scrum Master experience within large scale scrum environment with multiple development teams; 
  • advanced agile practices such as continuous delivery, continuous integration. test driven development.


Experience (Role Requirements):

  • you have successfully completed your studies and have relevant practical experience as a Scrum Master / Team Facilitator or in a similar role;
  • you have very good working experience in an agile environment (i.e. Scrum);
  • you have  a basic understanding of concepts of Enterprise Agile methodology frameworks i.e. SAFe;
  • you promote self-organization with passion and exemplify agile working methods with respect, openness and courage;
  • you enjoy employee and team development, recognize potential and manage to inspire others;
  • you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German a plus);
  • we appreciate your solution-oriented approach, strong communication skills and strong initiative.


About the Line of Business:
The ability to provide the best possible customer experience and subsequently business performance results is heavily predicated on providing relevant and timely content and communications to our customers.
Relevancy is highly correlated with currency and as such, the time it takes to convert customer behaviour into new insights and interaction is key. This is the case at every stage of the customer lifecycle for every customer on every topic. To that end, we need the ability to continuously “observe” our customer interactions with SAP to “analyze/interpret” these interactions and to “interact” with our customers in real/near-time in a personalized way based on their past and immediate behaviour.
We need to through continuous actionable insight, improve the customer and user experience at every step in their journey by interacting the at the right moment with the right content and service.
In order to achieve above we need to further develop our Data Infrastructure & Services capabilities onto which we build new modern data driven services and solutions. A new unit called CXS Universal Services will be formed in CXS where dedicated scrum teams will be stood up to focus on partnering up with IT&A to develop the mentioned modern Data & Analytics Infrastructure Services but more importantly build the reference adoption and consumption use cases for the various CXS Customer touch points.
