Senior Solution Sales Executive (f/m/d) S/4 HANA Cloud



The (Senior) Solution Sales Executive (f/m/d) will be part of SAP’s Customer Success organization and support our customers and Industry AE colleagues with knowledge and engagement around how to get the best outcomes from our RISE cloud solution offering. We are seeking for a dynamic and passionate Sales Professional, who will be responsible for sales to selected departments and the associated sales responsibility in Switzerland. This role covers all sales-relevant processes regarding the sale of RISE with SAP & SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
Responsibilities include also the following:

  • Solution Sales for RISE with SAP Cloud solutions.
  • Achievement of agreed sales revenue targets in the area of RISE with SAP & SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
  • Generation of new opportunities by proactive approaching customers and developing of an opportunity plan containing the value proposition.
  • Identification and qualification of opportunities, develop and drive strategy.
  • Professional management of all opportunities and bids for assigned accounts and leads incl. forecasting. 
  • Negotiating of contract constellations within large RISE with SAP & SAP S/4HANA Cloud deals.
  • Qualification of the initial situation at the customer / prospective customer and elaboration of the solution offer with appropriate value-added arguments  
  • Work on demand management activities with the local Marketing & Business Development.
  • Closely work with leading Hyperscaler partners
  • Understand customers’ business transformation requirements to the cloud to create a roadmap for the journey to the Cloud through RISE with SAP solution offerings.
  • Closely work and leveraging Hyperscalers like AWS, MS Azure, and GCP and the broader SAP partner ecosystem (GSSP etc.) to offer the best solution and business outcome to customers.
  • Coordinate across multiple SAP internal teams (Product, Architects, commercial teams...) to provide deal support to multiple Industry segments. 
  • Agreement negotiations for S/4HANA Cloud / RISE with SAP and technical terms.
  • RISE & S/4HANA Cloud - Early Deal Strategy & Execution Guidance - Support in the sales cycle (processes).


  • Bachelor/Master degree 
  • Very good knowledge of the SAP product portfolio, offerings and industry solutions 
  • Experiences in creating strategic cloud transformations 
  • Good understanding of S/4HANA Cloud solution offerings 
  • Fluent German and English language as well as excellent communication and presentation skills are mandatory
  • Experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise of S/4HANA Cloud (e.g. through Solution Management, Consulting and/or pre-Sales roles)
  • 5+ years of working experience  in selling business software and IT solutions in a customer facing role


The team is part of the RISE Sales Team Switzerland  within the SAP’s Customer Success organization and supports our customers and Industry IAE colleagues with knowledge and engagement around how to get the best outcomes from our RISE cloud solution offering.
