What you’ll do:

• Develop tools for movement of cloud applications across different cloud platforms
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and management using tools like Chef
• Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or Azure CI/CD
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications
• Develop and maintain DevOps scripts and tools
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development process
• Understand and apply security best practices in the cloud
• Collaborate effectively with developers, operations, and other stakeholders

What you bring

• Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Computer Science Engineering 
• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Flexibility to work on weekends as per the business requirements.
• Experience in writing software in languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript
• Developing RESTful APIs with modern technologies such as NodeJS, Golang 
• Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
• Working knowledge of Scrum, Test Driven Development, performance testing, data correctness & integrity testing 
• Building containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• It would be an added advantage if certified on any hyperscaler

This role is part of the SAP HANA Database & Analytics Cross Engineering team where we work with the latest cloud technologies, such as Cloud Foundry / AWS / Docker / Kubernetes, SAML SSO, OAuth, Microservices etc. The team works on a breadth of topics spanning these areas, investigating new technologies and supporting the infrastructure teams as required. We contribute to cloud applications success by producing software, services and APIs that are robust, reliable and scalable.
