The Team

Building on SAP's intelligent enterprise strategy it is the mission of SAP Signavio to assist our customers in navigating through their digital transformation, by helping them to understand and improve their business processes in a data-driven way.

We are looking for an experienced Development Expert with a wide range of industry practice knowledge who will drive the strategic development projects of for the unified process content layer within the SAP Signavio content organization.

In this role, you’ll be part of the Value Accelerator Delivery Group (VAD) unit which helps SAP Signavio to realize new optimization, re-design and transformation packages to accelerate transformation.

You will be working closely with VAD Product Manager(s) and various VAD Process Owner. As a Development Architect, you will lead at the beginning one engineering team being focused one of the most important deliverables in the near future and extend your area of influence after its delivery and first stabilization.

What you will do

• Lead one and later several engineering teams in delivering high-class SaaS with highest market fit
• Coach developers with less experience
• Multiple development projects in parallel and ensure reaching goals and milestones
• Ensures business critical & innovative results
• Manage relationship with stakeholders, keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues, manage expectations and stakeholder’s satisfaction
• Work on process automations to streamline internal activities
• Manage escalations appropriately

What you should bring

• 15+ years working experience as Developer/Architect
• Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent education in Computer Science
• Current and in-depth knowledge of technology trends
• Broad knowledge at expert level regarding application functions, configuration, content development processes
• Experience in building platforms and tools that hide technological and process complexity
• Knowledge in Java, Javascript, Mysql, MSSQL, Kafka
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, other language skills are a plus
• Excellent presentation, communication, and networking skills
• Strong Analytical skills and the ability to absorb complex issues
