Working Student (f/m/d) for Common Service Infrastructure Observability

What you'll do


As a working student (f/m/d) in our Common Service Infrastructure team, you will support your team members following a scrum-based software development process.

 

Your focus area will be the observability tools of our service infrastructure. They provide vital monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to our services. We heavily work with Kubernetes and open-source monitoring tools such as Prometheus. 

 

You will gain insights in developing business-critical, cloud-native software at scale and in an international work environment.  

 

As a student (f/m/d) your working hours will be flexible with a maximum of 20 hours each week during the semester based on hourly wage, up to 40 hours during the semester break.  

 

What you bring

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in computer science or related areas 
  • Basic knowledge about Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana and Git
  • Basic skills in one of the following programming languages: Python or Golang
  • Interest in monitoring of cloud-native applications 
  • Very good language skills in English
  • Self-motivated team player

 

Meet your team


Our international team is responsible for the provisioning and operations of infrastructure services, which are the foundation of SAP HANA Cloud and other major cloud offerings.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
