What you’ll do
 

As a Product Manager (f/m/d) (job title: Product Expert / Senior Product Specialist), you will be at the forefront of defining AI-driven solutions within our SAP PLM environment. Your role will involve close collaboration with functional experts to understand domain-specific needs and translate these into actionable AI requirements. You will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to rollout, ensuring that our solutions enable product-centric organizations to deliver innovative and sustainable products. 

As a Product Manager (f/m/d) you will:

• Define and prioritize AI use cases for the SAP PLM system that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for AI integration.
• Work closely with functional experts across various domains to understand challenges and opportunities.
• Develop detailed product requirements and roadmaps, articulating both functional and technical needs.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of AI features.
• Oversee the product lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and user feedback.
• Measure and analyze product performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably with a focus on AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of SAP PLM, with hands-on experience in deploying AI solutions within this framework.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear product specifications.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Fluent written and spoken English skills, German nice to have.

You will be joining our dedicated SAP PLM Product Management team, a group at the heart of defining and executing the product strategy for our PLM system in the cloud. Our team is responsible for the overarching product roadmap, as well as our "buy, partner, build" strategy, ensuring that we not only meet current market demands but also anticipate future trends and opportunities.
