Cloud Innovation Architect:

As a leading cloud service provider, SAP NS2 hosts enterprise-scale SAP applications on top hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, and GCP, serving diverse clientele including CRE, CIE, ITAR, and DOD customers.

We're seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect with deep expertise in SAP ERP, S/4 HANA, SAP RISE products, and a broad portfolio of SAP & 3rd party systems. Demonstrating a proven track record in delivering customer-centric cloud solutions is a must. This role requires substantial experience across hyperscaler platforms, high availability, disaster recovery architectures, Kubernetes clusters, microservices, APIs, hybrid landscapes integration, and SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) alongside IaaS,PaS & SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement customer-facing cloud architectures for SAP ERP systems on hyperscaler platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architecture solutions.
• Architect and deploy Kubernetes clusters and microservices architectures to support SAP ERP workloads, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Integrate hybrid landscapes proficiently to seamlessly connect on-premises and cloud environments, leveraging APIs.
• Implement robust high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for SAP ERP applications and databases, ensuring uninterrupted business continuity and robust data integrity.
• Utilize SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) to streamline the development, integration, and deployment of SAP applications and services.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing, SAP ERP, Kubernetes, microservices, and API management.

Qualifications:

• 10 plus years of proven, trackable experience in the field of SAP .
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.  A combination of equivalent work and life experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing complex challenges.
• Extensive experience as a Cloud Architect, specializing in SAP ERP systems, S/4 HANA, and SAP RISE.
• Proficiency in hyperscaler platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding and demonstrated past experience with SAP products and solutions, including Unix operating systems and Database Technologies with a focus on HANA.
• In-depth technical expertise in networking technologies in hybrid clouds.
• Strong understanding of SAP security, SSO, MFA, IAM, networking, firewalls, routing, ports, and protocols & Encryption technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes/Gardner clusters, microservices architecture, and API management.
• Demonstrated expertise in integrating hybrid landscapes and deploying solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Thorough knowledge of SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its capabilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with design tools like Visio, TAM, PowerPoint.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 129800 - 220900(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
