Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Sales Operations Business Partner Senior Specialist at our New York, NY location to focus on the successful creation, deployment, and execution of sales supporting processes, tools, and services, across all GCO areas and in close alignment with related lines of business (incl. HR and Finance).

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Transform operations into a service-driven business. Collaborate with sales management in order to provide performance insights and recommend related actions to achieve revenue generating business priorities. Leverage, adopt, and implement standard processes and systems to keep operations lean and insights consistent throughout the engagement. Analyze business performance and priorities to accelerate revenue generating business decisions. Identify business improvement initiatives and project-manage execution. Follow defined processes and coach sales leaders to leverage the same in order to reach company-wide compliance. Drive adoption by planning priorities, positioning change, and collaborating with the Center of Expertise (COE) on rollout and enablement. Provide feedback, share requirements, and highlight concerns to COE and Field. Focus on Sales Planning, Demand Management, and Deal Execution, followed by Performance Management and Go-to-Market. Support Forecasting process but optimize time investment as automation increases.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics or a related field and six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

  • Sales planning and Sales execution tools, including tools that manage sales pipeline;
  • Go-to-Market Planning and Enterprise Forecasting processes;
  • Manage complex matrix organization;
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool;
  • Implement sales processes and sales enablement;
  • Build pipeline demand and monitor sales quota carrier performance; and
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:

  • Territory Planning and Quota Setting;
  • Sales Performance review process, including business unit performance, bookings, revenue, and pipeline attainment; and
  • Analytics Cloud reporting.

 

Travel: N/A. Telecommuting permitted within commuting distance of New York, NY office.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $154,315 - $206,096. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $154,315 - $234,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
