Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to leverage understanding of the SAP Analytics platform architecture and its relevant components, including data loads, data transfer, data modelling, and warehouse management for comprehensive solution support operations.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Perform analysis of system landscape, technical issues, and assessment of core business processes for new generation SAP products such as Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Group Reporting. Provide customer feedback based on analysis of functional gaps via SAP services and work with the development team to close gaps. Implement various specific best practice operation scenarios including developing, training, specifications, and documentation. Ensure proper and up-to-date availability of services and documentations for the respective area of expertise. Deliver root cause analysis, performance optimization, and assessments for SAP Analytics solutions.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 4 years in the following:

  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (Architecture, Configuration, Sizing, Lifecycle Management, Upgrades, Security, Monitoring, Auditing and Scheduling);
  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Suite (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office, Lumira, Analysis for OLAP and Universes);
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Architecture, Lifecycle Management, System Integration, Models, Stories, Analytical Applications and Digital Boardroom);
  • Perform root cause and performance analysis in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Suite and SAP Analytics Cloud from an end-to-end perspective (Application, OS, Network and Backend);
  • Integrate SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Suite and SAP Analytics Cloud to SAP datasources (SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) and non-SAP datasources; and
  • Design and review customer reporting solutions from a functional and technical perspective.

 

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,133 - $164,985. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,133 - $194,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
