What you`ll do

Summary:

We, as a collective group of SAP Enterprise Architects, commit to leading the digital transformation of our customers by leveraging our expertise in system integration, strategic planning, and technology implementation. Our primary missions are to drive the Clean Core imperative and to accelerate the adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) by fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.

We are dedicated to enabling Clean Core, aiming to simplify and modernize our IT landscape while reducing complexity and operational costs. By consolidating systems and streamlining processes, we strive to create a robust and agile infrastructure that supports the evolving needs of our business.

The Role:

Enterprise Architects play a crucial role in orchestrating the development of a holistic enterprise architecture model that supports established enterprise goals. To help companies to future-proof their technology environment we serve them from the select phase where the NorthStar Enterprise Architecture is being created, to adopt (Clean core transformation coming in) to the derive phase (translate the NorthStar Enterprise Architecture to its different SAP solutions, including BTP realizing the Clean Core).

As an Enterprise Architect, you act as an Advisor to the customer to lead them toward the next step of IT Services by providing holistic advice and guidance focusing on an application/solution, an industry, or a technology.

What you bring

Must-have requirements/skills:

• At least 5 years of work experience in a customer experience role (e.g., Program Manager, Architect).
• Proven experience delivering enterprise Business transformation through Application delivery.
• Experience in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
• Proven knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset.
• Experience delivering Business Technology Platform components and services such as application development and automation, data and analytics, Integration, and AI capabilities.
• SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology, SAP Clean Core principles as well as the usage of SAP LeanIX & Signavio as tools to document Enterprise Architectures & Business Processes.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in the English language) at the senior manager level both inside an IT team and across business functions.

Nice to have requirements/skills:

• Ideally, proven knowledge of On-Premises solutions and their corresponding cloud solutions.
• Professional Training & Certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) as a plus.
• S/4HANA Application or/and SAP S/4HANA functional knowledge/experience would be a great benefit.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 116,400 - 251,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
