The purpose of the Corporate Processes & Information Technology organization (CPIT) is the digital backbone of SAP. CPIT creates, builds, and runs an intelligent, sustainable enterprise by providing customer-centric insights and technologies. CPIT Security acts as cross-functional unit for all Delivery and Operation units in CPIT to provide IT Security guidance and services in close alignment with SAP Global Security & Cloud Compliance organization.

 

 

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist who is well versed in IT governance programs, processes, and professional stakeholder management. You will join a highly motivated team working on harmonizing, stabilizing, standardizing and automating SAP's end-to-end corporate IAM and its internal control system across the company.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Support setup of central corporate IAM Governance framework and structure across the IT department CPIT and across SAP.
  • Establish professional stakeholder management processes and structures to enable seamless collaboration on IAM related topics.
  • Support the IAM Governance Expert in the development and maintain the CPIT IAM Strategy in alignment with all stakeholders.
  • Establish central communications platform and establish processes to ensure continuous information sharing on IAM Governance related strategy and policies across the internal organization.
  • Work with the IAM Governance manager to prepare and enable out of the box communication regarding IAM governance to our external stakeholders, like customers and partners.
  • Support in development and roll-out of procedures enabling IAM governance decisions and standards enforcement.
  • Support in identification of IAM related risks.
  • Support in setup of further required central IAM governance processes to enable state-of-the art professional services of a central governance unit.
  • Work across multiple teams within CPIT, the CPIT Security team as well as the Global Security & Cloud Compliance (SGSC) team and the wider Lines of Businesses (LoBs).
  • Contribute to further maturing the IAM control framework.

 

What you bring  

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, economic sciences, or comparable qualification.
  • Minimum of 4+ years deep professional experience in IAM area and in an IT Security Governance function or deep professional experience in stakeholder management and in an IT Security Governance function.
  • Knowledge about standards and best practices like ISO 27001 / 27017 / 27018 / 22301, SOC, C5.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Extended skills to present and communicate with technical experts and senior leaders.
  • Ability to collaborate across IT teams and cross SAP Board Areas and Lines of Businesses.
  • Analytical thinking, ability to analyze challenges in depth and structure solution proposals along the identified problem areas.
  • Open and transparent communication.
  • Capable of dealing with conflicts and solution oriented.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
