The development center of SAP in Bulgaria is technology-focused and plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you’ll do

As an associate development architect on the Central Key Management Service (cKMS), you will leverage modern encryption, cryptography, and key management principles to build a resilient, cloud-native, and scalable core service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy and operate cloud-native applications and services.
  • Integrate the cKMS service with other SAP cloud services and applications, and various persistence layers.
  • Ensure security, high availability and reliability of the service.
  • Collaborate closely inside the team and with other teams in an international environment.
  • Learn and adapt to new technologies in the fields of cloud-native development, software security and cryptography.

 

What you bring

  • University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven experience as a software architect, technical lead, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Go, C/C++.
  • Excellent theoretical and practical background in OOP, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design of large software systems.
  • Experience in microservice architecture and cloud-native development.
  • Hands-on experience with some of the leading cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud.
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
  • Fluent English language skills, both oral and written

 

An advantage is experience in software security and cryptography.
