What you`ll do 
SAP BTP ABAP Environment is the SAP Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering for ABAP Cloud development that enables developers to leverage their traditional on-premises ABAP know-how to develop and run ABAP Cloud applications in the SAP Business Technology Platform, either as extension to SAP software or as standalone applications. SAP BTP ABAP Environment is built on and leveraging the latest cloud technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. 

To strengthen and evolve our operational compliance we are looking for passionate project consultants with proven track record in industry.
Your daily business is compliance of our cloud operational processes, from the start to the end.

You will monitor and evaluate our operational processes to ensure they align with compliance requirements. You need to identify potential compliance risks and propose improvements. For the improvements you will have a tight collaboration with DevOps team to implement the same.

You will prepare audits for various compliance standards on regular schedule, which comprises the documentation of the operational processes and providing respective evidence. As we seek automation for audit cycles, you will collaborate with DevOps team to optimize documentation and to automate evidence extraction.

Regardless of the detailed position you will be working in an agile team with passionate and engaged project managers and developers.

What you bring 

• You should have a sound technical background with a university degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. 
• You should have 5 years of experience in the industry to have implemented a compliance framework and to have acted autonomously in the phases of analysis, operations and audit.
• For the close collaboration with all the people and teams involved you have fluent skills in English and German.

The team is based in Walldorf with tight working relations to teams in India and USA. We provide support for all developers in ABAP Platform for the areas of quality methods, compliance analysis and documentation, and delivery or deployment of the software increments.
