As a developer associate (f/m/d) in our team, you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues. In our team you will develop and improve the Development Experience of HANA, specifically the end-user facing frontend tools of the HANA database. You will implement new features and infuse GenAI into the tools to enable new use-cases and to bring the developer productivity to a new level.

On a usual day you will...

- develop and improve the HANA development tools using TypeScript, Node.js, and React

- define and develop new features in close collaboration with team members

- work closely with our designers to provide our customers with fresh, friendly, and elegantly simple user experiences

- engage and prototype HANA tools on the latest technologies for platform and application development

- apply GenAI creatively to enable new innovations, remove obstacles, and boost productivity

What you bring        

Required skills:

- University degree in computer science or related technical discipline

- High proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written

- Very good programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL

- Experience with designing web-based user interfaces using React, SAP UI5, HTML Web Components

- Experience developing cloud-native applications leveraging GenAI (fine-tuning, prompting, etc.)

- Being a team player working with multiple development teams and across locations

Preferred skills:

- Experience in working with SAP products like HANA, Business Application Studio, Business Technology Platform

- Good programming skills in Java, Python

- Experience with developing Visual Studio Code extensions
